Hamburg, just more INNOVATIVE! Future talk BGE for the Startup and Music Industry

"Hamburg Testet Grundeinkommen" will bring together representatives from the startup ecosystem and the music industry to explore how a basic income could make it easier to launch new ventures and pursue creative endeavors.

The signature collection for the referendum 'Hamburg Testet Grundeinkommen' is underway and will run until 30 September 2024. The goal is to provide 2,000 Hamburg residents with a basic income for three years as part of a state-funded pilot project. This initiative will allow to scientifically study the effects of a universal basic income (UBI) on local communities.

Entrepreneurs and music industry professionals are key target groups who could benefit from a UBI, enabling them to pursue innovative ideas and creative projects without financial pressure.
