Flutter Workshop Series

Our Flutter Workshop Series is designed for developers who have been working with Flutter for a few months and are familiar with its core elements. If you’re unsure about your skill level, feel free to ask René or Damian, the workshop hosts. This series features 6 workshop sessions spread over 6 weeks. While attending all sessions is ideal, you can also choose to attend individual ones. The workshops will be conducted in German, and water and snacks will be provided.

Open Coworking Days & Workshops:

Workshop 1: How Flutter's Animation API Works

    • 06-08-2024
    • Explore various ways to implement and execute animations in Flutter.
    • Discuss and code with explicit variations and the ‘animate’ package.
    • Engage in challenges to familiarize yourself with animations and discuss the results.


Workshop 2: Composing Animations

    • 13-08-2024
    • Understand how to animate various elements like size, position, and color together.
    • Learn about different timings and speeds within animations.
    • Work on new concepts with examples and coding challenges.

Workshop 3: Page & Scroll Transitions

    • 20-08-2024
    • Explore animations controlled by interactions such as navigation, scrolling, or swiping.
    • Learn to animate page transitions and use scrolling to make animations run forward or backward.
    • Apply your skills through coding challenges.

Workshop 4: Delightful Micro Events

    • 27-08-2024
    • Combine everything learned so far with quick wins achieved through implicit animations.
    • Participate in numerous coding challenges designed to consolidate your knowledge and inspire creativity.

    • Showcase your animation expertise through fun and competitive challenges.

How to Join:

  1. Sign up and receive your Eventbrite ticket.
  2. Check-in between 8:00 and 17:00.
  3. Show your ticket at the Community Desk on the 2nd floor.
Important Note:
The Free Coworking Day is exclusive to the Flutter Community (non-members only). Factory Hammerbrooklyn Network Members will need a day pass to access the campus unless attending an event.
