About the Circles Program
Growing organically from our members’ desire to connect with one another, Circles are self-organized sub-communities at Factory Berlin, gathered around shared interests, industries, and projects, where members exchange ideas, inspire and support each other.
Alongside regular and casual meetings, the community Circles program has evolved to include monthly formal meetups supported by the Factory Berlin Team, where speakers from the wider network are invited to share their experience and expertise.
About the Edtech Circle
The EdTech Circle helps to promote Education and Learning, it provides a platform for all stakeholders in Education to network and discuss challenges, opportunities and learnings. They currently have 200+ members in their slack channel.
During this panel discussion, the Factory Berlin Edtech Circle investigates:
- How has the pandemic changed the way that we learn and teach?
- What have been the biggest challenges for educators and how have they dealt with them in practice?
- What fundamental truths have we discovered through our successes and learnings and how do they change our lives in the future?
Antonios Triantafyllakis is a learning designer, facilitator, and gamification consultant. Passionate about impact, he creates engaging learning opportunities and meaningful games as his day job, then goes on podcasting and volunteering for unconditional basic income and climate activism to leave the world a slightly nicer place than he found it.
He’s been working with NGOs involved in international youth work for over a decade, and with freelance trainers, educators and EdTech startups in the past few years, to make learning fun and effective. As the co-captain of the EdTech Circle in Factory Berlin, his aim is to identify the needs of all Factorians involved in learning and development, and work with them towards a better future in learning!
Martin Ramsin grew up in Stockholm and developed a love of computers at an early age. His first job as a programming intern took him to San Francisco just as the internet bubble was about to burst in 2000. On moving to Berlin in 2005 he became interested in creating products and on meeting Raffaela in 2013 they founded CareerFoundry in order to create a more human-centric education online and help people realize their potential.
Since 2016, Kirsten Henschke has been Principal at NewSchool, a state-approved and project-based secondary school.
As CEO, Noam Gerstein is responsible for resources & navigation at bina. She studied at Tel-Aviv Uni at 16 and later founded, bootstrapped and exited at 26. She has 7+ years of global K-6 research and loves growing friendships, kids, plants and business.
