Terms and Conditions for competitions and raffles organized by Factory Network

I Scope of Application

Factory Works GmbH, Rheinsberger Str. 76/77, 10115 Berlin (“Factory Network”, @factory_network on TikTok) is hosting a TikTok competition. The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or affiliated with TikTok. Participants submit their information to Factory Berlin and not to any third party. Any questions may be directed to Factory Berlin ([email protected]).

The entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these conditions of participation. These T&Cs apply in addition to the information in the respective TikTok Post.

II Conditions of Participation

1. The competition is open to EU residents. The prizes will be awarded exclusively by Factory Network after contacting the winners.
2. Participants must be 18 years or older. The competition is not open to employees of Factory Network.
3. The prize for this contest is a one year free Network + Campus Membership, 500 € in TikTok Ad Credits, and a position as a TikTok ambassador in a TikTok online event. Factory Network reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal value without notice.
4. To participate, participants must set up a TikTok Ads-Manager account and post a video on TikTok by February 7th 2024, tagging @factory_network and using the hashtag #tiktokfactorynetwork. The most liked videos will be spotlighted on Factory Network’s TikTok account as well as shared on campus screens to Factory Network’s community of innovators in order to select the winner. The finalists will have their content screened at a special Check Out Drinks, where the final winner will be announced. 
5. Submissions will be accepted until 23:59 on 07.02.2024. Later entries to the contest will not be accepted.
6. The winner will be announced publicly on Factory Network’s social media channels and via private message to the winner itself. If a winner does not get back to Factory Network within five (5) days of being notified or contacted, Factory Network reserves the right to revoke the winner’s prize and select a replacement winner.
7. As far as personal data of the participants are collected, processed or used in the context of the campaign and the competition, this is done exclusively for the purpose of carrying out the campaign and contacting the winners. Factory Network will use this data exclusively for contacting the participants and not for any other purposes and will not pass it on to third parties. The data may be further used by Factory Network for its own purposes to the extent permitted by law. The participant acknowledges and agrees that by publicly commenting / sharing the page / sharing the app with the hashtag, he/she may be identifiable (e.g. by account name or profile picture).
8. Factory Network reserves the right to modify or terminate this promotion, including the contest itself, at any time.
9. The competition and the conditions of participation are subject to German law and all disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.
