Imposter syndrome is a phenomenon where people find it difficult to internalise their accomplishments, skills and experiences, and overwork to compensate for their own perceived lack of ability.

Modern work cultures are often engineered purposely to inspire productivity and high performance in ways that incite insatiable desire for approval and a sense of imposter syndrome.

Lisa Orbe-Austin is a licensed psychologist, executive coach, and organizational consultant whose book, "Own Your Greatness: Overcome Imposter Syndrome, Beat Self-Doubt, and Succeed in Life", answers exactly that.

Lisa joins us onstage to train us to identify the root causes of imposter syndrome, recognize our natural skills and strengths, and gain the confidence to lead or simply speak up for yourself.

The paradox of a person with imposter syndrome is that they are not a fraud that they perceive themselves to be; in fact, they are often high achievers who are extremely competent and able to really excel. So, how do you overcome imposter syndrome and unlock your true potential?
