What is the relationship between DevOps and related terms such as sysadmins, cloud computing, developers, and company culture? Is it a praxis, or is it a methodology? Or maybe both.

Yair will combine ideas from philosophy, comparative literature, and his experience to find a better explanation for the term.

Yair Etziony is the DevOps Lead Germany for Polar Squad, a new startup from Helsinki, Finland.

With over twenty years of experience in the field (in various roles, such as a QA engineer, System engineer, System administrator), Yair is also a musician and worked in the past as an art curator and a journalist for available magazines. He is continually researching new ways on how to improve software development, team practices, and company culture. Yair holds a BA in modern history and philosophy.
